E-mail: yong@cc.kyu.edu.tw* Abstract Accompany the awareness and concern of countries’ history and culture in the world, as well as the maturity of interactive multimedia technology nowadays, the authors apply interactive multimedia technology which integrating the text, animation, video and audio to re-present the content of triple-word couplets which valued in Chinese culture for the children. There phases in construct the teaching site of triple-word couplets communication design are planning, style developing and designing. The interactive triple-word couplets teaching site has not only the original text and translate text but also eight animations of traditional Chinese history stories and two small games to tested children’s study effect and improved study interest. Unlike traditional teaching of triple-word couplets is reading verbatim by teacher for children to recite over and over again, the triple-word couplets teaching site provides multiple teaching modes which can improve teacher and children to understand traditional culture of triple-word couplets more multi-variedly, broadly and deeply which can transfer boring learning to interesting learning that aims this paper’s core valued.
