This thesis is focused on the companys background, detailed analysis and overall planning of the building needs of the entire network, combined with wide virtual LAN VLAN , Hot Standby Routing HSRP , access control lists ACLs , Network Address Translation NAT and other techniques to enhance the stability and security of the network. The design of virtual local area network to isolate the different departments, enhance network security; in VLAN planned on the basis of access control lists ACLs , set policies to limit access between departments, as well as server zone; router hardware the dynamic Host Configuration protocol DHCP functions, to ensure the acquisition of the IP address of the various departments; to set up network Address Translation NAT on the border router, the internal private addresses into public addresses, multiple users at the same time the public a legitimate IP with the external Internet to communicate, to solve the problem of shortage of IP addresses.
