Carson Georgia State University Ana Longhini Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto This diary study focuses on the second language learn- ing styles and strategies of the diarist/researcher in a naturalistic setting, utilizing categories from Oxford’s (1990) Strategy Inventory for Language Learning and the Style Analysis Survey. The analysis of diary entries indi- cates that the learner’s learning style remained relatively constant throughout her time in the language immersion Joan G. Longhini is an associate professor in the Department of Foreign Language at National University of Rio Cuarto, Argentina, where she lec- tures in the English Applied Linguistics MA program.
