The fo rm er belongs to the m iddle-w eak su lfuric and sulfurou s sa line so il w ith m iddle- strong co llapsib ility and its sa lt content m ain ly cam e from the sa lt-bearing clasolite in b ake m arg in of slope and from the so lute salt. T he latter is m iddle chlorou s and su lfurou s sa line so il and its salt con tent cam e from the sh allow saline groundw ater through cap illary action and evapo ra- t ion year in year out. T he saline so ils in X ining area be long to secondary salin ization so il and its sa- line expan sion co llapsibility and corrosiveness ou e stronger. A t the last five treatm ent m enthods for saline so il foundat ion treatm en t are put fo rw ard.
