Distribution network is an important part of power system, with many points, wide range, high complexity, climate, environment, geography and other factors, but also to meet the needs of different customers, therefore, the grid of limited funds, weak transformation in the network, reduce the possible accidents, improve the reliability of power supply to ensure reliable operation, city distribution network in Colleges and universities is very difficult problem. This paper detailed investigation by the presence of the distribution network problems, analyses some of the major causes of distribution network fault, and according to the analysis results, the prevention and improvement measures. In order to improve the reliability and safety of the distribution line, to ensure a harmonious social production and living a healthy and stable.
