So talking about Somebody’s image is the importance of teaching . Through the learning of this unit, let students describe people’s appearance freely and let students write a short passage to describe themselves by using the adjective words. 2.Let student learn to praise other people. 学情分析 年级的学生年龄大约是13-14岁,他们有丰富的想象力和很强的好奇心,他们乐于当众表现自己,而且喜欢受到别人的赞扬和承认。但由于这些学生来自不同的地区和不同家庭环境,而且性格、气质、爱好兴趣不同,所以基础也参差不齐,所以,在教学中采取因材施教,面向全体原则。 教学目标 Key words: short, curly, long, tall, straight hair, a medium build, thin, heavy, bald, brown, blonde, glasses, hair, beard, mustache. New language: What do you look like? I’m short. And I have curly hair. What do they look like? They’re of medium height. And they have short hair. What does he look like? He’s heavy and he wears glasses. What does she look like? She’s thin and she has long hair. Aims of Ability: Learn to talk about and describe what people look like Get Ss to do pair-work to describe people’s appearance Get Ss to practise listening, discussing , writing , drawing and survey Aims of emotions: Train Ss to describe people’s appearance, lead them to watch each other carefully .
