Bacteriawere isolated and identified using conventional ethods and theirM ini u Inhibitory Concentration (M IC) were deter ined. Antibodies of the paired seru sa ples toMycoplas a pneu onia, Chla ydia pneu onia, and Legionellapneu ophilawere detected. R esu lt The etiology ofCAPwas identified in 60 patients. 45 bacterial and 18 atypical pathogenswere isolated. Hae ophilus influenzae 14, Klebsiella pneu oniae 12, Streptococcus pneu oniae 10, Mycoplas a pneu onia 13, Chla ydia pneu oniae 4. In 3 patients ore than onecausal agentwere found.
