Then we acquired a specific SRAP fragment with a length of 537 bp could be generated from the Pleurotus citrinopileatus No.2 strain. Subsequently, the fragment was converted into more stable SCAR (sequence characterized amplified region) marker by cloning, sequencing and primer design ．The results showed that the SCAR marker acquired based on this study could be used as a specific DNA fingerprint to identify the Pleurotus citrinopileatus No.2 strain whithin one day. Consequently, it should be an accurately, rapidly and effectively way to identify Pleurotus citrinopileatus strains by using SCAR molecular marker technology.
