The results show ed that during the flower opening and senescence processes, PsCTR 1 and PsCTR2 w ere accumulated in a constitutive man ner, w hile PsCTR 3 w as increased w ith increasing endogenous ethylene production. T he expressions of both PsCTR2 and PsCTR3 w ere increased in response to exogenous ethylene. 1M CP upregulated the expres sions of PsCTR 1 and PsCTR2. T he results from the competitive treatment betw een ethylene and 1M CP show ed that the 1M CP treatment could reverse the effect of ethylene in PsCTR 1 and PsCTR2, but had nothing to do w ith PsCTR3, by contrast, the ethylene treatment could reverse the effect of 1MCP in PsC
