Effect of Pennisetum sp. Planted in the Barren Hillside on Soil Microbial Community Function Diversity and Fertility

Abstract: To study effect of Pennisetum sp. planted in the barren hillside for 1, 2, 3 and 5 years on the soil microbes community function diversity and the influence of fertility, the results indicated that carbon sources utilization for soil microbial increase as culture time went, change was the most obvious when cultured by 72 ~ 96 h, AWCD value reached the maximum when cultured by 144 h. Generally, AWCD was that of Pennisetum sp. planted for 2 years 3 years 1 year 5years CK , AWCD of Pennisetum sp. planted was higher than CK with significant difference, AWCD was highest for Pennisetum sp. planted by 2 years , followed by 3 years. Difference between 1 and 5 years was not significant. Principal component analysis of carbon source characteristics for soil microbial cultured by 96 h was done, principal component 1 and principal component 2 were able to distinguish among soil microbial community characteristics,
