Step 2: Lead –in Ask Ss to name some great people and lad to the listening material ?Have a discussion: 1,Who is the greatest person among the pictures? 2, Can you name the great people? Presentation Step 3: Presentation 1,Learn the new words 2,Ask Ss to read the information about Marie curie at the top of Page 68. Ask Ss to raise their hands if they have any questions. 1, Where was Marie Curie born? 2,What did she study in France? 3,What were she and her husband famous for? 4, How many times did she get the Nobel Prize?
