It is a famous city in history and culture and also an important national tourist city with beautiful scenery. While tourism is also a high relational and influential strongly sunrise industry as Hangzhou advantage industry. Tourism is rapid development, Which is beneficial to promote the harmonious development between man and nature, to drive the tertiary industry and to develop urban construction, to strengthen the motive force and vitality of the economic development. This article mainly begins with Hangzhou tourism status and its international status, drawing some existing problems of the Hangzhou tourism. At the same time, mainly analysing weaknesses of the Hangzhou trouism in the international competition, which is low international tourism demand, low human resources quality, the traffic congestion and so on. As well as the threats that is facing the impact of the international financial crisis, international and domestic growing competition and so on. On this basis, making some suggestions for Hangzhou government and industry associations, which can ascend international competitiveness of Hangzhou tourism.
