In a good marketing plan, recruiting is a second step. You will learn how to market your product first, and then you are ready to help your new distributors. There are three marketing secrets that empower you to build a large base of loyal customers. First, you need a large audience. Second, you need a compelling message. Third, you need to deliver your message, invite a response and track your results. Lets look at these in detail.
For a large audience, you need to go outside of your warm market. Only a small fraction (2% at most) of your prospects will buy from you, so you need a large pool of leads to draw from. Using the phone and the Internet, you can reach thousands of consumers nation-wide. Consumer leads for a phone campaign cost as little as 20 cents a piece. This is secret number one.
The second secret is to find the right message. Obviously, your market audience and message must match. Your leads will be buying to get what they need and desire. Therefore, choose a key product and a major benefit, for example in the area of Mary Kay skincare, or fragrance products. Look to find a group of consumers who are likely to spend money on this benefit. Craft a compelling message that is focused solely on the major benefit, not the product or company.
