The Influence of Personality Diversity on English Learning 棗 Taking the Senior Students of Kai Li University Majoring in English for Example Abstract: With the popularization of foreign language communicative teaching methods, the diversity exists in the learners. There are many factors in foreign language learning, which influence on language learning. However, non-intelligence factors play an important role in English learning as well. The non-intelligence factors that effect language learning include gender, age, interests, personality, willpower, motivation and so forth. Among them, personality on foreign language learning is the most influential. This paper presents a preliminary exploration into the influence of personality on several professional skills by searching into 120 English learners. The result shows that the personality has little effects on the learning of the integrated English. However, the extroverted students are good at spoken English and English writing, while the introverted students are good at reading comprehension, English grammar and English listening.
