本文在总结考古发现的基础上，结合前人研究成果，首先详细说明了选题缘由，
分析了水井及“井”字的由来，介绍了太行山东麓地区的自然地理背景，阐述了太行
山东麓地区先秦时期水井产生的原因。其次，提出了水井的判断标准，在介绍了太行
山东麓地区先秦时期水井概况的基础上，对水井进行了水井形制类型式的划分并总
结了其特点。针对水井形制的分类，分析了各形制水井的建造工艺，总结出太行山东
麓地区先秦水井的发展趋势。再次，通过分析井内堆积的状况，对井内堆积和井的年
代对应关系进行梳理。全文主要综合运用考古学的基本理论和研究方法对太行山东
麓地区先秦水井进行较为系统、深入的探讨。

backgroundofthesouthernfoothillsoftheTaihangMountains,andexplainsthereasonsfor
theemergenceofwaterwellsinthepre-QinperiodinthesouthernfoothillsoftheTaihang
Mountains.
Secondly,itproposesthecriteriaforjudgingwells.Buildingonanintroductiontothe
generalsituationofwaterwellsinthepre-QinperiodinthesouthernfoothillsoftheTaihang
Mountains,itdividesthetypesofwellstructuresandsummarizestheircharacteristics.In
responsetotheclassificationofwellstructures,itanalyzestheconstructiontechniquesof
varioustypesofwellsandsummarizesthedevelopmenttrendsofpre-Qinwaterwellsinthe
southernfoothillsoftheTaihangMountains.
Furthermore,byanalyzingtheaccumulationinthewells,therelationshipbetweenthe
accumulationandtheageofthewellsissortedout.Thewholearticlemainly
comprehensivelyappliesthebasictheoriesandresearchmethodsofarchaeologytoconduct
arelativelysystematicandin-depthexplorationofpre-Qinwellsintheeasternfootofthe
