比较级

比较级用于比较两个主体。组成句子的方式是将形容词或副词变成比较级的形式，之后要用than引出比较的对象。

形容词比较级的构成——?规则变化：

单音节和部分双音节词

一般在词尾加-er

tall→taller

long→longer

以不发音字母e结尾的词，在词尾加-r

fine→finer

late→later

重读闭音节词且词尾只有一个辅音字母，双写辅音字母再加-er

big→bigger

thin→thinner

?以“辅音字母?+?y”结尾的双音节词，先把“y”改为“i”再加-er

easy→easier??

friendly→

friendlier

比较级的句子结构：

原来的句子结构不变，只是将形容词变成比较级的形式，然后在后面用than引出所比较的对象。例如：

1)Shanghaiisbusy.

ShanghaiisbusierthanHangzhou.

2)Shanghaiisanoldcity.

ShanghaiisanoldercitythanShenzhen.

比较级常用句型：

1)A+动词+形容词比较级+than+B意为“A比B更……”

Thistreeistallerthanthatone.

TheclimateinBeijingishotterthanthatofNingbo.

2)表示两者之间的选择,可使用

Whichis+比较级,…or…?

Whichislonger,thisoneorthatone?

3)……比较级+and+比较级……“越来越……”

Inspring,thedaysaregettinglongerandlonger.?

注意：

修饰比较级的副词要用much,alot,alittle,abit,far,even,still等。very不能和比较级连用。如：Itwascoldyesterday,butit’sevencoldertoday.

Heisgettingmuchfatterthesedays.

Somedayit(Shenzhen)willbecomeasbusyasHongKong.

as+形容词原形+as…“和……一样……”

否定形式：notas…as…或notso…as…意为“和……不一样”、“不及／不如……”。
