Thisstandardisissuedunderthe?xeddesignationB317/B317M;thenumberimmediatelyfollowingthedesignationindicatestheyearoforiginaladoptionor,inthecaseofrevision,theyearoflastrevision.Anumberinparenthesesindicatestheyearoflastreapproval.Asuperscriptepsilon(ε)indicatesaneditorialchangesincethelastrevisionorreapproval.

1.1.2TypeC—Hot-?nishedrectangularbarinT6,T61,T63,T64,T65,andH111temperswithTypeCtolerancesaslistedinthetolerancesandpermissiblevariationstables.

1.2AlloyandtemperdesignationsareinaccordancewithANSIH35.1.TheequivalentUni?edNumberingSystemalloydesignationinaccordancewithPracticeE527isA96101forAlloy6101.

NOTE1—TypeAmaterial,lastcoveredinthe1966issueofthisspeci?cation,isnolongeravailable;therefore,requirementsforcold-?nishedrectangularbarhavebeendeleted.
