    serumprostatespecificantigen.Afteradjustmentforagetestosteronedidnotadverselyimpactpeak

    flowrateorpost-voidresidual.Itisnoteworthythatthehighestandlowestquartilesforserum

    testosteronelevelssimilarlydidnotcorrelatewithtotalprostatevolume.Otherstudiessuggestthat

    prostate/benignprostatichyperplasiaproxiesmaybeworseinmenwhoarehypogonadal.However,

    therearemanypotentialconfoundingvariablesinthiscohortofmen,includingmetabolicdysfunc-

    tion.Itwouldappearthatmaintenanceofaeugonadalstatehasmanybeneficialaspects,including

    prostatehealth.
