    Themajorprojectinthisunitistodevelopamarketingplanforexpandingaproductorserviceintoanew

    market(or‘host’country).Thestudentsarefreetochooseanyproduct/servicefromanycountrytheylike,

    aswellasany‘host’countyornewmarkettheylike.

    Studentswillformgroupsofupto5.Thereisnominimumlimitforgroupsize,buttheassignmentswill

    beassessedbasedonwhatcanbeexpectedfromfivestudentsworkingtogetheronthistaskforthe

    wholesemester.Individualadjustmentsofmarkswillnotbeconsidered,asallstudentsareexpectedto

    contributetoeverysectionsofthereport.GroupswillbeformedinWeek3tutorials.

    Studentsarestronglyadvisedtochoosetheoriginoftheproductand‘host’countrybasedonthe

    expertiseinthegroup.Assuch,culturallydiversegroupsmayhaveanadvantage.Thewordlengthis

    um3,000(excludingContentspage,ExecutiveSummary,ListofReferencesandAppendices).

    whichtheydonotcurrentlyoperate.ThiscanbealocalorganisationwishingtogooverseasORa

    foreignorganisationwishingtoenteryourhomecountry.Thegroupmaychoosetofocusonaproduct

    oraservice.Theseproductscouldbemarketedtoeitheraconsumer
