TheUSinsurancemarkethasseenaprolongedperiodofgrowthdrivenbysupportive

macroeconomicconditionsandanincreasinglycomplexsetofrisksthatareactivelymanaged

bycorporates,smalltomedium-sizedbusinesses(SMBs),andindividualsalike.Insurance

brokershavebeencentralinhelpingend-insuredsnavigatethisevolvingrisklandscape—

rangingfromanincreasedriseofclimate-linkedcatastrophiceventstomoresophisticated

andfrequentcybersecurityanddataprivacyincidents.AsaresultoftheCovid-19pandemic,

insurancebrokershaveneededtotakeactionsandincorporatenewwaysofworking.

Insurancebrokershavealsoinadvertentlybenefitedfromthebuoyantinterestrate

environmentinthelasttwoyears.Thehardeningmarkethelpedoffsettemporarymalaise

intheinsurancesectoratthestartofthepandemicandlaidthefoundationforwhatwas

anunprecedentedyearin2021,asmanyinsurancebrokers,listedandprivate,delivered
