canindicatedefensivenessorresistance.Whensomeonecrosses

theirarms,theyarecreatingaphysicalbarrierbetween

themselvesandothers,signalingthattheyarenotopento

communicationorarefeelingdefensive.Ontheotherhand,open

armswithpalmsfacingupwardscanindicatereceptivenessand

awillingnesstoengageinconversation.

Sustainedeyecontactisoftenseenasasignofconfidenceand

sincerity.Itcanconveytrustworthinessandattentiveness,

makingthepersonyouareconversingwithfeelvaluedandheard.

dishonesty,ordisinterest.

indicatelowself-confidenceoralackofinterest.Onthe

contrary,anuprightposturewithshouldersbacksignifies

confidenceandassertiveness.Payingattentiontobody

movement,suchasfidgetingortappingfeet,canalsoprovide

insightsintoapersonsnervousnessorimpatience.
