Healthcare disputes can arise from several factors, such as miscommunication, misdiagnosis, medical errors, and dissatisfaction with care/treatment received. Common causes of healthcare disputes Miscommunication Effective communication is essential to ensuring that patients receive proper care and that healthcare providers have a clear understanding of their expectations and needs. Miscommunication is a common cause of healthcare disputes, and it can occur between patients and healthcare providers. Miscommunication can lead to misunderstandings regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and potential outcomes. Misdiagnosis Misdiagnosis occurs when healthcare providers fail to identify a patients condition correctly.
