Its time to/for ... 1.通过一首欢快的歌曲与激发学生的学习兴趣，激活学生已有的知识储备。 2.用Its time to/for ...描述不同时间Zoom的活动并区分Its time to/for ...的用法。 Step2：Presentation and practice 1. 教师用PPT出示故事中的第一幅图。 (1)Look and say T:Look！Where is zoom?What time is it? Ss:He is in the bed. T:What time is it? Ss: It’s 7:00 T:It’s 6:58. nearly 7:00. His friend zip comes. Now listen!“Wake up, Zoom. Its time to get up.” (2)Teach “wake up”，“want to sleep”. (3)Listen and imitate “Wake up, Zoom. Its time to get up.” Think and guess T:If you are Zip, how will you wake Zoom up? 3.教师用PPT出示故事中的第2-4幅图。 (1)Think and discuss Ss read picture 2—4 with partner, and discuss what will zip say, what will zoom say.(pair-work) (2)Listen and answer Q1:How does Zoom feel? Why? Q2: What time is it now? (3)Listen and imitate Ss try to act like Zoom:It’s eight o’ clock. Oh dear!I’m late for school.(use actions) Listen and repeat P2-P4. 4.Mini show(P1-P4) 5. Watch and answer (1)Watch the video and answer: Q1: Is Zoom late for school at last? Why? Q2：What time is it in fact? Q3: Why the time is different? It’s zip’s joke. Look P5-P6 and find out why Zip play the joke. Ss find the date April 1st on the wall and know that today is April Fool’s day.
