Setup Instructions Cylon Demo Board The Cylon Demo Board has three main modes of operation as detailed below. In any of these modes the operation of the software will remain the same. Within the software all temperatures are simulated. When the room setpoint is adjusted via the SiteGuide or through the UCU Room Display, the software applies the control signal to either the heater battery or the cooling battery and the supply air temperature is simulated accordingly. The simulated room temperature then warms up or cools down towards the setpoint temperature. Demo Mode Demo mode can be enabled and disabled via a digital setpoint on the SiteGuide touchscreen. It can be found under the Engineering \ Demo menus. The password on the engineering menu is up, down, left, right. With Demo Mode enabled the software will cycle through three sets of outside air temperatures and room temperature setpoints. This forces the board through simulated control of the heating battery and cooling battery to achieve simulated temperatures for supply and room temperature. The default Demo Mode values are: 1. Outside air temperature of 25DegC and a room setpoint of 16DegC 2. Outside air temperature of 18DegC and a room setpoint of 20DegC 3. Outside air temperature of 5DegC and a room setpoint of 26DegC The values cycle every 3 minutes. This period is adjustable via the SiteGuide. By default, the Demo Mode is on.
