Methods: 176 patients with male infertility were selected to receive semen routine test according to WHO semen analysis method. The serum and seminal plasma MDA contents were measured by using the thiobarbituric acid colorimetry. This study adopted self-control before and after taking nutrients. Results: Before and after taking nutrients, the mean sperm concentration were (±)×106/ml and (±)×106/ml respectively, the mean sperm motility were (±)% and (±)% respectively, and the mean sperm deformity rate were (±)% and (±)% respectively. Compared with those before taking nutrients, the sperm concentration and sperm motility after taking nutrients were significantly higher, and the sperm deformity rate significantly decreased(P). The sperm motility paramete after taking nutrients were higher than those before taking nutrients, but there was no significant difference (P>). Before and after taking nutrients, the mean serum MDA contents were (±) nmol/ml and (±) nmol/ml respectively, and the mean seminal plasma MDA contents were (±) nmol/ml and (±) nmol/ml respectively, all had significant differenc
