PAGE PAGE 30 情感因素对英语专业课堂教学的影响与启示摘要：情感因素在外语教学中尤为重要。随着人本主义的兴起，越来越多的教育工作者投身于情感因素对外语教学影响的研究中。尽管国内外已经有很多外语教学中情感因素的相关研究，这一领域仍然具有很大探索空间。本研究基于对英语专业学生的问卷调查，对外语教学中的情感因素进行了探究。研究发现，动机、自信心、焦虑对英语课堂学习有着重要的影响。最后，笔者根据研究结果对外语课堂教学提出一些意见和建议。关键词：情感因素；英语专业；课堂教学；情感过滤；影响 The Influence and Implications of Affective Factors in EFL Classroom Teaching for English Majors Abstract: Affective factors in EFL teaching are very important. Since the emergence of humanism, more and more instructors and educators focus their attention on it. Although studies on affective factors in EFL teaching are plentiful at home and abroad, there is still room for further probe. This research aims to discuss the affective factors in EFL teaching. To study the influence of affective factors, the writer conducts a questionnaire survey among English majors. The result confirms that students’ affective factors like motivation, confidence and anxiety have crucial influence on their English learning. And finally, some implications and suggestions for EFL teaching are to be offered. Introduction 1.1 The significance of affective factors in English language teaching In the nineteen-sixties, the humanism emerged. It emphasizes the inner world of a person, and gives top priority to humans’ thought, feeling and emotion in one’s overall development (Williams Burden, 2000: 15). With the development of humanism psychology, people pay more and more attention to the affective factors in language teaching (Xiang, 2003). Nowadays, many drafts of teaching plans and materials are taking consideration of affective factors (Williams Burden, 1997, cited in Xiang, 2003).
