The Belt and Road Initiative, which was proposed barely five years ago, is now transforming from concept to action, from vision to reality. In May 2017, Beijing witnessed the grand scene that delegates from over 100 countries and regions gathered to jointly discuss the major plan of the Belt and Road construction. The Belt and Road Initiative Forum for International Cooperation achieved great success, with over 270 tangible achievements that can be classified into five major categories and 76 major items. Consequently, the following strange phenomenon occurs. All parties, including countries and regions with vast differences across Eurasia, governments at various levels, companies of various sizes, are contemplating the same issue: What can I do for the Belt and Road construction? Different parties offer all sorts of answers then. People gradually realize that the Belt and Road Initiative is a stage for performers, whose own conditions and demands play a crucial role in such performance. It is absolutely normal to apply specific policies on specific countries, provinces and enterprises respectively. People are contemplating the same issue, but the solutions may be widely diversified. Therefore, parties involved in the Belt and Road construction are in need of research achievements that are customized for their own conditions.
