Emotion aims: Culture the Ss’ imagination and the abilities of things. 二、教学重难点 1. teaching important points:(重点) 1) to master the new words and phrases to practice well 2) to read the text to catch the connected information, and improve the Ss’ reading abilities by learning the text 2. teaching difficulties :(难点) 1) to get the abilities to catch the connected information by reading the text 2) to understand and use the new words , phrases and sentences. 3) to use the passive voice. 三、学情分析 Unit5学习一般现在时被动语态的应用,Unit6学习一般过去时被动语态的应用,所以Unit6是Unit5的延伸,学生学习起来不难,会理解好阅读文段中含有一般过去时被动语态的句子。 四、教学步骤 Step 1 Pre-reading 1. Free talk (an invention) 2. Let students see some pictures. Ask:Do you like drinks?What kind of drink do you like?Let Ss answer the questions. 3. Ask: What’s the most traditional drink in China? Would you like tea? Do you know how tea is produced? Who was tea invented by? Ss talk about the questions. Step 2 While-reading 1. Fast-reading: Ask Ss to guess what the passage is about. 2. Skimming: Let Ss read the passage quickly and match each paragraph with its main idea. Paragraph 1 Lu Yu and his book Cha Jing Paragraph 2 How tea was spread to other countries Paragraph 3 How tea was invented by accident Learn the new word: accidental 3.
