While it has brought forth commercial banks, personal financing operation has enjoyed a satisfactory development itself and has become the strategic factOT for international integrated ccmimercial banks. With the expansion of Chinas capital mmtet and the marketing progress of interest rate, the payoff room of industrial and commercial banks traditional operation is gradually dwindling; at the same time, the diversification of customers demands and the fierce competition in bank field have put forward higher request for the managerials in industrial and commercial banks and naturally, personal financing operation is becoming the main factor of originality and the key point for increasing profit for industrial and commercial banks. Unfortunately, due to the lag of policy, realistic plight and the managerial problems, personal financing services provided by industrial and commercial banks are far less satisfactory than its western counterparts from service scale to service content In fact, Chinas personal financing operation is stiU experiencing its infant stage- Therefore, how to win over high grade customer, take possession of customer market, realize maximal profit and improve the core competency of industrial and commercial banks are crucial for bankssurvival. This paper has analysed factors restricting personal financing operation with the help of relative financial theory and personal financing practice; it has offered the main outline, methods and tactics in improving personal financing operation for industrial and commercial banks through the reference of foreign banks experience; in the end, it has displayed a real case in industrial and commercial bank for presentation in order to further understand the connotation of personal financing operation, which can affectively guide our actual
