Unit 7 Delivery and Shipment Introduction Delivery of goods means that the sellers deliver the contracted goods to buyers at the agreed time，place，and in the agreed manner．In international trade，delivering goods quickly and safely is essential to both the buyers and the sellers． For the sellers，setting a proper time of shipment is the first important thing in delivery negotiation．In deciding the time for shipment，the sellers should be cautious because they might face a claim if they fail to deliver the goods at the agreed time．Careful consideration should be given to the following： 1．Supply of the goods． 2．Transportation． 3．Condition of the goods． The buyers often require shipment as soon as possible，and the earlier，the better．Hence，speeding up delivery is what the buyers care most about．But how can we shorten the time of delivery and help the buyers place the goods on the market at the earliest time?
