M ethods The separations were carried out by column chromatography and identified by advanced physical and spec- tral data analysis. Results　 Five compounds were isolated and identified as neohesperidin (Ⅰ ) , ammonium formate (Ⅱ ) , isoliquiritigenin (Ⅲ ) , liquiritigenin (Ⅳ ) , and adenosine (Ⅴ ). Conclusion　 eohesperidin, liquiritigenin and isoliquiritigenin are isolated for the first time from the plants of Cruciferae ammonium, formate is obtained from the root of I. indigotica for the first time.
