AbstractIsis Abstract Isis is the most significant goddess during the whole ancient Egypt history,and she played the indispensable role in the Heliopolitan Ennead．Isis’functions various。such the giver and protector of the kingship，the queen in the neitherworld，the goddess，the goddess of star(Sirius)，the goddess of harvest，the goddess of art and on．She influenced each level of the Egyptian society because the Egyptians believed in gods and goddesses devoutly,and in another hand the story among gods and goddesses reflected part of the reality of that time．The adoration of Isis started from Old Kingdom to the Ptolemic Kingdom，and reached fastigium during the age of Hellenistic．When Christianism went into Egypt，her adoration was accepted by Christians．So Isis became the goddess whose worship is the longest and whose extension is the most fargoing． The foreign Egyptologists discussed Isis detailly while the domestic scholars’research her often based the writing of the foreign production，SO the indirection of the must lead some misunderstanding．Taking the theory of the German historian Ranke and basing the collection of Adriaan de Buck，I researched of the main of the ancient Egypt，the Coffin Text，to study how the functions of Isis are depicted in the origional material． My conclusion is Isis’functions of being the goddess of birth，the protector of the deceased，the giver and protector of the kingship and having some relationship with the running of the Sun—bark clearly discribed in the Coffin Text but the relationship with healing and is specifically mentioned there．From the research of the Coffin Text，we the Egyptians’deep trust devoted Isis and their pursuing to the nice aspects in the human characteristics． Key words：Isis；Coffin Text；myths of Osiris；functions 独创性声明本人声明所呈交的学位论文是本人在导师指导下进行的研究工作及取得的研 独创性声明 本人声明所呈交的学位论文是本人在导师指导下进行的研究工作及取得的研 究成果。据我所知，除了文中特别加以标注和致谢的地方外，论文中不包含其他 人已经发表或撰写过的研究成果，也不包含为获得东北师范大学或其他教育机构 的学位或证书而使用过的材料。与我一同工作的同志对本研究所做的任何贡献均 已在论文中作了明确的说明并表示谢意。 学位论文作者签
