The exhibition projects take the first place in Asia and the second in world, and China becomes a ‘great country in convention and exhibition industry’, which is due to the government’ participation and help. A group of government-leading exhibitions have grown up and become the domestic famous brand of China. Compared with the developed countries, with our country’s perfect market economy and the high degree of opening-up, Chinese government-leading convention and exhibitions are displaying more disadvantages, such as the high cost, bad running effect, and low marketization degree, and majority of them sink in a condition of ‘difficult to hold, but hold every year, and more and more difficult year after year as a result’. For pushing the convention and exhibition industry development well, it is necessary to choose the style of marketization, for which we should study well the operation mode in convention and exhibition industry, especially the operation mode of marketization in convention and exhibition industry. As a result, place the role of the government in convention and exhibition industry again, to push marketization with speed.
