ABSTRACT With the quality education being carried out，what we must do is to change our traditional teaching way，to construct an open study environment for our students and to pay more and mote attention to the cultivation of students innovative spirit and practii;al ability，if so，we can not only greatly improve their Chinese quality and leaming ability for life but also make students realize their all-round development. However， humane quality of senior students is very low ∞average because of the social environment and bad inf1uence of traditional educational system. Thus to strengthen and improve the students humane quality is becoming more and more important and urgent in our teaching work. Then what humane quality should senior students have? Whats the value of improving their humane quality? Whats the situation mow? How should we improve their humane quality? 1have done some research on the subjects in this thesis，which is divided into 5 chapters. Chapter 1: What humane quality should a senior student have? Chapter 2: The important value ofimproving senior students humane quality. It can not only improve students synthetic quality but also their ability to adapt themselves to social circumstances ，also，it is a key link in the process of accomplishing our educational purpose. Chapter 3: The current investigation and analysis for the situation of senior students humane quality. Chapter 4: Description on the current situation of humane quality education in senior middle schools when we transfer our teaching aims. Chapter 5:Ways and methods of improving the humane quality education. Generally speaking，we should fonn good humane environment. Secondly，we should do our best to make our school democratic. Thirdly， all the people including teachers，students and parents ought to work together to take part in it.
