It explores into the heroine Elizabeth to study Austen’s special perspective on feminism in the patriarchal society. In conclusion, this thesis examines the nature of Jane Austen’s pioneering literary feminism, and both the positive and negative characterizations of Elizabeth in the text reveal the writer ’s feminist value in the Victorian England.
