Dental Dental Arch Relationships between Upper and Lower Jaws and Dental Morphology of Non—syndrome Complete Unilateral Lip and Palate Patients Abstract objective： To assess the dental arch relationship and dental arch symmetry through researching models of non—syndromic complete unilateral cleft lip and palate(UCLP)． Methods： Experiment 1：Evaluated the dental arch relationships of 52 sets of models of patients with UCLP with the Goslon Yardstick system．Compared the results to the Goslon outcome of other centers，and compared the results between mixed dentition and permanent dentition in this study,to assess dental arch relationship of patients with complete UCLE Rank sum test for ordinal variables data was used to analyze the results． Experiment 2：Selected 1 5 sets of models of patients with complete UCLP with mixed dentition and permanent from the samples of Part 1 dentition randomly and respectively, and set the individual normal occlusion of permanent dentition as control group．The width of dental arch of cleft side and non—cleft side(1eft side and right side in patients with permanent dentition of individual normal occlusionl was measured in different arch segments．Then evaluate the symmetry of arches of patients with complete UCLP through calculating asymmetric rate． Results： 1．60％of patients were classified into poor and very poor categories，and the mean Goslon score was 3．75． 2．The Goslon in mixed and permanent dentition showed no statistical differencef胗0．05)． 3．Except of posterior dental arch，other segments of arches showed poor symmetry,and asymmetry ratio increased as growth and development of individual in anterior dental arch(PO．05)；asymmetric rate of each dental arch of complete UCLP patients was higher than that of patients with permanent dentition of individual normal occlusion． 4．There was correlation in the asymmetric rate of the anterior and middle dental arch segment between upper and lower dental arch in complete UCLP patients with mixed
