华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract With the growth of the national economy,the Iron and Steel Industry has been the lifeline of it. And it has been more and more significant to mark the product information on iron and steel products, such as manufacturer information, serial numbers and manufacture date. At present, most of the marking devices for iron and steel products are bought abroad and most have disadvantage on modification of marking data, production line management and so on. In this case, we put forward the design scheme of a new marking system which is integrated with several common marking methods, aiming to fulfill the current market demand and increase efficiency of production and management. The new system presented by this article, consists of two parts. The upper computer, as the central pivot of the overall system, also provides a friendly user interface, through which users can finish jobs like system configuration, monitoring, marking data management and preview. The slave control board handles the outside signals, receives commands from the upper computer and accomplishes the actual marking. This article first introduces the basic structure of a marking system and its relative technologies, and makes brief introductions for three kinds of common marking methods, such as multi-pin marking, surface painting and side painting. After that, it presents a whole set of the architecture design scheme, which is proved to be effective, so that three kinds of marking methods can work together in the same production line and can be managed and disposed by a PC software on the upper computer. And then, this article also presents the division of software parts and introduces the design and implementation of some important modules, such as the mark-encoding module, the mark-control module and the mark-state module. Finally, our system has achieved the anticipative targets and requirements through testing and debugging. And it is proved to be ca
