Concrete Filled Steel Tubular is a structure form of the steel - concrete composite structure, which is a structure formed by the steel tube filled with concrete. In recent decades, the steel pipe concrete structure has been widely applied to industrial and civil buildings, especially widely applicated in high-rise buildings and the highway Bridges, in order to adapt to the development of the times and the needs of society, it is very important significance to research on the concrete which filled with the steel tube.
Application of the principle of elasticity of the theoretical analysis of the mechanical properties of the steel pipe of concrete column, especially CFST columns stress and displacement deduced CFST columns under axial compression and steel pipe confining force radial displacement and the relationship between the radial displacement and the size of the cross-section and the load; Theoretical analysis in the carrying capacity of the steel pipe of concrete column ,and also with the steel ratio under the condition of limited bearing capacity of concrete filled steel tubular column and reinforced concrete column instance comparison.
Using ANSYS analysis software to analysis for steel pipe of concrete column with nonlinear finite element, from the point of view of the ANSYS test the mechanical properties of the steel pipe concrete content, including the establishment of the finite element model, the problem imposed constraints and load, convergence criteria set solving and final extract, and the analyze steps and so on. In order to comparison with the CFST column performance, and do ANSYS nonlinear finite element analysis on the same cross-section and the same amount of steel reinforced concrete columns. We can get the ANSYS analysis results of concrete filled steel tubular column and reinforced concrete column by using the ANSYS analysis test with 6 gropes.
