Abstract Electric automobile transmission directly affects the dynamic performance of the vehicle. Using the transmission can make electric vehicles keep both the ability of low-speed climbing and the function of high-speed cruising. Shifting system can improve the dynamic performance of electric vehicles, reduce the requirement on the performance of motor vehicle electric vehicles, and improve work efficiency and driving comfort. So it has very important significance to the study of electric automobile shift optimization. The transmission introduced in this thesis based on the theory of firstly synchronous, then shift . This thesis firstly introduces the basic structure of electric vehicle, and presents the status and development trend at home and abroad of it.Then discuss the automobile transmission technology, present the automatic synchronous transmission, and describe its structure, working principle and its advantages compared with the traditional transmission. Analysis the electric vehicle drive motor mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, present the methods of the vector control algorithm. Aiming at the automobile gear shifting process of the gearshift process, the synchronization process and retaining process, optimize the electric automobile shift process. Design and debug the hardware and software for the shift control system. At end of the project, the electric vehicle with the synchronous transmission can shift successfully. What’s more the performance of the system is perfect.
