内蒙 内蒙古科技大学硕士学位论文 IV IV Abstract With the continuous expansion of the scale of interconnected power systems, at the same time, it brings great advantages in terms of economic use of electricity and fault emergency support, the operation stability issue of power system became a critical problem. The low frequency oscillation caused by the interconnection of weakly coupled power systems threaten the stability of power systems, so in order to improve the security of power systems, study and analysis the mechanism of inter-area low frequency oscillation is an urgent task. Damping control is the first consider method to suppress power system low frequency oscillation. At present, Power System Stabilizer (PSS) is widely used to suppress the low frequency oscillation. Therefore, how to improve the damping level of operating system and real-time monitoring of the operational status is very important and significant from the research methods and suppression strategies, not only for theoretical research but for practical engineering applications. Because of the seriousness of power system low frequency oscillation, the experts and scholars have paid great importance in the field of electric power research, and many analytical methods under it oscillation principle can be obtained. According to the oscillation data for measured data analyzing low frequency oscillation, methods on it can be classified into two types: one is based on the mathematical model to study the oscillation, this method relays on the unknown conditions is rather difficult in the interconnected power grid. Thus, the method for online identification based on the measured oscillation has been primary consideration. In order to improve the stability of power system operation, the mechanism of low frequency oscillation and the mathematical model of the generator have been addressed.
