The Study on Information Grid Management for Public Security Earning Warning System Abstract The public security earning warning system is a public security related emergency management system managed by the government. The purpose of the system is to improve the capabilities of forecasting such events and handling emergencies and to manage these events more promptly and effectively. Currently, various commanding systems are belonging to different departments in China. They are not unified and can be very less effective when a large scaled and complicated disaster events occurred. We are required to quickly solve the issue of information gathering for strategic decision and to avoid “isolated information island”. The development of the public security earning warning system goes beyond the old fashioned technologies, unifies different departments’ resources by utilizing information resources more properly and integrating resources of human and materials. It can establish a much better public security protection mechanism. Grid computing technology can organizing multiple information systems into a large scaled and distributed application system or a virtual organization, using grid computing protocol. The security earning warning system applies new technologies, new system organizations and new concepts in the way of using information resources. In the system, computing resources, storage resources, communication resources, software resources, information resources, and knowledge resources all can be shared. The most remarkable features of the system are the sharing of resources, working cooperation and the openness of the standards. All these features are suitable for providing a unified intelligent information management system.
