Method: The pure tone audiometry (PTA);ASSR and single-frequency steady-state response were examined in 32(64 ears) young adults with normal hearing whoes young doctors from Guangzhou No.1 Peoples Hospital and 129（258 ears）patients with sensorineural deafness whoes patients from Guangzhou No.1 Peoples Hospital and recorded the thresholds appear in 500,1000,2000,4000Hz. Results: In normal hearing young people group ，pearson correlations between the PTA thresholds and the ASSR thresholds were 0.64,0.81,0.79 and 0.85 appear in 500,1000,2000 and 4000Hz;there was significant difference between ASSR and single-frequency steady-state response at 500Hz;Pearson correlations between the PTA thresholds and the single-frequency steady-state response thresholds was 0.81 at 500Hz.
