In contrast, distributed solar automatic weather monitoring system based on GPRS can solve those problems,and it communicate stable and reliably. The paper has studied theory and practice of automatic weather monitoring systems,and developed monitoring system prototype; involving four aspects: determining overall program of monitoring system,design and implementation of terminal hardware,development of application software and research on solar-powered wireless power lines icing monitoring system. Firstly,the paper brings forward the performance index of data acquisition according to actual demand, analyzes characteristics and four commonly network programs of GPRS,and determines overall study program of monitoring system.Then it designs the wind speed and direction transmitter circuit and vibration anti-theft alarm circuit, developes image acquisition system, introduces the selection principle and communication protocol of serial video camera,and realizes image acquisition function. An approach is proposed, which combines GPRS communication and solar energy technology, to solve the problem of weather monitoring location uncertain. And then the paper describes the functional requirements and performance requirements of system software.The software realizes those functions which contains real-time data display, animation sync display, historical data query and alarm record,can forecast abnormal weather condition.It designs the image acquisition system, which can bring about video monitoring of remote serial port.
