At the same time embedded operating system is the application simplifies the computer system based on computer technology of even more emphasizes the volume,the power loss,the cost,then takes along synthesis factor and so on.The two unifies constitutes together the integrity transmission system will have the incomparable superiority. Therefore, There are some reasons we can believed that constructed the system of video capture, processing and the transmission based on the embedede operating system which have the widest prospect. The platform, of which DSP is TMS320C54X and which is on the basis of MCU and DSP, is relatively leading in real-time image processing field interiorly, It have offered the reliable hardware platform foundation for Video traffic detection. It overcomes those faults of bad real-time and not adaptation to bad environment, and which are brought by the traditional real-time processing platform of images based on PC. The platform developed in this paper has some strongpoint such as good universality, real-time calculation capability. The cameras video signal is converted to digital through SAA7114. Then the digital signal put into the DSP. DSP source in the Department of video and audio signal compression coding and merging, and then vehicle information will be passed on to AVR through HPIs. Users can get vehicle information from serial bus RS-485. In this paper, the single video detect card including a detailed schematic design, and serial communications, I2C bus, SPI bus for a detailed explanation.
