II II Abstract With the continuous development of supply chain theories, many superior supply chain modeling methods which are a branch of the theory of supply chain have emerged in large numbers. But, as a recently developed science, there are many differences between construction supply chain and the tradition supply chain which has the manufacturer as the core enterprise. So it’s necessary to consider the characteristic of the construction supply chain to study a modeling method for the construction supply chain. In this thesis, the theoretical knowledge of the construction supply chain and the business processes which are at the context of the large-scale hydropower development project construction supply chain were described. Besides, the supply chain modeling language(SCML) of Chatfield was also introduced, which can describe the logical and management information of supply chain and is an information frame to support supply chain modeling. In the basis of Chatfield’s supply chain modeling language(SCML), the function of describing the supply chain that is at the core of manufactures was kept and the characteristics of construction supply chain were added. At those basis, the construction supply chain modeling language(CSCML) was put forward. CSCML can sustain the expressing of construction project structure, work breakdown structure and construction task propulsion which are the features of the construction supply chain. CSCML can not only describe the normal supply chain, but also can describe the construction supply chain.
