The research not only has great meaning in practice to our seminar’s project, but also has significant value in theory. Especially, moving object detection technique, so far, there are still many diffcult problems not well solved, specially, the issue of moving object having stretching on the direction of velocity of movement always expects to receive a solution. Complete two key technologies’ research (low contrast enhancement technique and moving object detection technique) necessary for our seminar’s project is the aim of my task. So, my paper conducts quite an in-depth study of them, at the same time, acquire some significative achievement. In the process of the research on low contrast enhancement technique, the paper conduct research on the theory of staple image enhancement means, focus on the reseach on histogram equalization technique, finally, search out a algorithm of combining part histogram equalization and global histogram equalization which well meets the qequirement of seminar’s project, then, perform a mount of targeted experiments of the algorithm, and determine the proportionality factor and window value of the algorithm that is fit for the project’s visual iamge processing. In the process of the research on moving object detection technique, the paper deeply studies the algorithms of moving object detection such as interframe difference method and background difference method so on, and effective improved algorithms for example symmetric difference method and background subtraction method whose background was updated by self-adating update background image technique, then, programs and testifies the relative merits of each researched algorithm.
