万方数据 万方数据 Clinical application of enteral nutrition supplemented with the isolated whey protein in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis complicated with hypoalbuminemia Major: Surgery Postgraduate: Zhou Guochao Supervisor: Yang Dagang [Abstract] Objective: To explore the role of isolated whey protein enteral nutrition in improving the clinical outcomes and nutritional condition of patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) complicated with hypoproteinemia. Methods: A total of 42 cases with SAP complicated with hypoproteinemia admitted into the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Guiyang Medical University from March 2014 to February 2015 were collected and randomly divided into two groups. In the stage of PN+EN，patients in the control group were given balanced enteral nutrition drugs; The experimental group were treated with the isolated whey protein in addition to what were treated in the control group. By observing changes in albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PA), total protein (TP), transferrin (TRF) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in blood, To study the improved effect of the enteral nutrition with or without the isolated whey protein on the nutritional conditions of patients with SAP complicated with hypoproteinemia .Results: 1. Intra-group comparison: ALB, PA and TP on day 3 and 7 of PN+EN in the two groups were compared with those in day 0. In the experimental group, ALB rose from 30.45±1.86g/L to 38.63 ± g/L, PA from 101.06±30.80mg/L to 228.40±86.12mg/L, and TP from 55.87±6.62 g/L to 72.9±6.53g/L (P0.05). In the control group, ALB went up from 30.13 ± 3.07g/L to 35.41 ± 2.77g/L, PA from 102.26±65.57mg/L to 173.35±49.52mg/L,and TP from 56.76±7.14g/L to 66.33±6.46g/L(P0.05).As the patients got better, their nutritional conditions were improved somewhat.2.
