The Discovery Channel shows viewers that the best way to get to know a city is by traveling with those who know the city streets like the backs of their hands - taxi drivers. This August, the Discovery Channel takes viewers on intimate tours of some of the worlds most spectacular cities with the premiere series CITY CABS. From Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Berlin, Germany, series host Michael Krass travels across the globe ①getting to know each diverse city through the eyes of its cabdrivers. Beginning on August 22nd, premiere episodes of CITY CABS air on Sunday night. 　　In each episode of CITY CABS, Michael Krass meets the cabdriver who accompanies him and serves as his tour guide for the duration of his stay in each new city. But these are no typical tours. Instead of spending his days visiting the citys most popular tourist attractions, Krass socializes with the locals, attends parties, learns local customs and becomes familiar with the true spirit of the people and the culture that make each city unique. From learning the tango in Buenos Aires to watching the filming of a telenovela in Mexico City to attending a Roman wedding, Krass does it all.
