Assessment Task: Research and Analysis on the World Largest Multinational Companies 2. Weighting: 10% of the final test 3. You are required to: * Form a group of two students * Choose a company of World Largest Multinational Companies 500 to study and analysis. * Fill the form provided * Write a report on the company’s business development. In your report: (1) There must be four sections: I. A Brief Overview of the Company II. The Business Strategies of the Company III. The Company and China IV. The Prospect of the Company (2) In the second section: the business strategy, you are required to point out at least two strategies that the company adopted. For example, the strategies in marketing, product location, economy of scale, local responsiveness, experience curve, cost reduction, RD and so on. (3) Length：750-800 words.. 4. Due date: 12 noon Wednesday June 20, 2007 (week 16) 5. Submission: Hard copy to the student in charge of each class (use A4 sheets) Electronic copy to the Blackboard Learning System by 5pm on due date 6. Late work: Late work is strongly discouraged. However, it will be accepted subject to the following penalties: * 10 percent of the total weighted marks available for assessments received during the first 24 hours after the due date and time. * A further 10 percent of the total weighted marks available per 24 hour period thereafter * Assessments received after 6 days will receive a zero mark. 7.
