PAGE PAGE VI Abstract Since the reform and open policy, our countrys economy advances into the times for high speed of development, is gradually realizing industrialization, and urbanization. The whole social structure and operation mode are in a great change. And folk sporting cultures from the agriculture society in the course of urbanization, meet an unprecedented crisis. Therefore, based on the process of our society change, it is very necessary to study on folk sports culture, especially to the villages of folk sports cultural change. This paper mainly by using the method of literature, case study, field investigation, section analysis and historical restoration of research methods, to dancing dragon activities of HuCun for empirical research, tries to find the rule of folk sports cultural change between urban and rural community .The main research results are as follows: Before urbanization, HuCun Village dragon dance activities a kind of Sacrificial Rite with strong religious colour; religious organization is the authority of managing the HuCun Village dragon activities; dragon activities have the function of entertainment, education, psychological comfort, identity, economic and regulatory. Dragon activities in this period, regardless of the form or consequence, is preferable the meet the needs of the villagers production and living, and carry out very prosperously. Compared to activity before urbanization, HuCun Village dragon activities during urbanization have changed in different degrees whether in the form, content and meaning. The Prominent feature of the activities at this time was that it changed with the times reflecting in simplifying the dragon dance ceremony, villagers ‘autonomous organization-the dragon managing the activity, emphasizing on the function of economic and identities.
